Have you checked your oil? If your oil level is high and also milky, you probably have a blown head gasket.

I checked the oil and it is not milky. It is also at the proper level. Is it possible that the good old well water out here on the farm could cause this? The temp doesnt seem to be unusual at all. Should i try to flush out some of the debris or will that cause more of a problem? Are there any prducts i can put in to clear this up?

Napa has a coolant system cleaner to clean the scale and Calcium deposits that you are seeing in your radiator. Or you can take it to a radiator shop and has the system flushed.. When adding water to your coolant system it should be distilled water to lesson the chances of mineral deposits building up....

You should use an additive in the coolant to prevent "cavitation". Do a search on it. There have been quite a few threads on it. You can buy the additive at Ford for about $7 a bottle. You will probably need two. Follow the instructions. And buy some test strips at a place like NAPA. Check the coolant regularly. Good luck with it.

Are you are getting your engine flushed or doing it yourself the "Book" states remove the tstat to allow complete flushing at higher flow levels to remove deposits.Removing and installing a new tstat is a good 2-3 hour job..........

Never Never Never use tap water unless it is an emergency, always use deminiralized/distilled water.

What is this about diesel rated antifreeze? My truck runs right on the "r" when I'm getting on freeway it rises to "m-a" or towing dump runs on "m" could this be caused by wrong antifreeze? it has additive.
