Turbo for 5.0 truck

Hello I'm new to the forums here.I have been looking into getting a Fox mustang to turbocharge but then I thought it would be cooler to do a truck I already know alittle bit about turbochargers and I had a turbocharger car (Rest in peices) I loved it so I gotta have another turbo. I was reading here and I saw something about the mustang turbo kits fit onto the trucks to, I would like some more information on that and some pics if anyone has done it. Also does anyone make traction bars and/or a drag launch spring set for a 87-95 f150?
Thanks, Donald.

Try Turbo Technology Inc. I run their street kit on my 91 mustang. They make kits for alot of different applications, been in business the longest, and have a great reputation among the mustang community. For pics and maybe some resourse material, I know it's not a truck site, but check out www.turbomustangs.com.

Why dont you go with a Kenne Bell supercharger, they are more sepensive, but many people here have them and they seem to love 'em. Just a suggestion. Then again, turbos are pretty dang sweet aswell.

Happy Blowin'

I've been looking into some lesser upgrades myself, but in my research, I called Ford Racing's tech help line, open till 6:00pm Eastern. Inquiring about modest performance upgrades to a '93 EFI 302, the rep said mine had roller lifters already, was based on Speed-Density airflow, and would easily handle a bolt-on supercharger no prob.

Dang.

I wasn't looking for a blower of any kind, but he said nothing else needs be changed to plant a 5-6 psi supercharger right der onna top.

Check out www.fordracingparts.com and the contact page. Free tech help, for the cost of a long-D call. Schweet.

Later!

This one is capable of making 700 HP, but requires the GT-40 intake seen here...
