40 ford heater ID

We picked up a 40 ford 4 door car in a barn. Had a hot air exhaust manifold heater system. My dad thought these were somewhat rare and desirable. where these an option? was a water heater offered as well?? is there any other old ford car forums around?
I put 2 pictures of it in my gallery.
thanks Mark

I think these are pretty rare. I remember my grandfather talking about these on the Model A's we have. I even have a hot water heater system for a Model B. Looks like an old desk fan attached behind a 6"x6" radiator.
