Windshield wiper blind spot

Not a big issue, but definitely annoying. The driver's side wiper stops about 4-5" away from the roof support and when the window is wet in the morning, it creates a blind spot that you have to look around. I asked the dealer if they were adjustable and he said no! Said that on the previous years, the wiper stopped short on the bottom side and people complained that "at rest" they could see too much of the wiper. Have never driven another vehicle with this issue. When it snows, it's really going to be bad. Anyone else have an issue with this?

I too noticed and am bothered by the wiper missing a good portion of the drivers left side view. tried to adjust it and as stated it is not adjustable. I did get a few cm more stroke by switching the drivers arm with the passenger arm. next I think I'll bend the arm a little, probably ruin it and have to buy a new one,,lo0l

Same here. Wipers leave a big swath of snow on the driver side. Have open the window and reach around to clear it. What a pain. Dealer told me too that it could not be adjusted. Real design flaw.

I havent noticed it on my truck yet, but what about adding a new blade that is 2" longer than stock? Would it rub the other blade? Worth a look. just add a 1" piece of...... toothpick to each each end of the blade and see where/if it rubs. Just a thought

Swapping the drivers side with the passenger side will get a lot more of the window coverered and also will make the wipers even up front on thew ottom of the windshield. The only downside is at about 70-75 mph the wiper on the will vibrate a little. All you have to do to swap them is slide the little lever on the bottom and they pop righjt off.

To Khendrix, thanks for the suggestion, but the issue isn't the length of the wiper blade, it's how far to the left (as you look out the window) the blade comes to a stop. It simply stops too soon before it clears most of the windshield. I will try swapping them if that seems to help.
