If you could go back in time

what would be the one vehicle you would like to have back ?
Min would be a 1977 Buick Electra 225. That car had a 455 with air and self leveling air shocks. For all the and abuse it took, it was the only vehicle that after 15 years still had that new smell in the velour seats. Three tons of solid car.

Dad's 67 Mustang fastback with swapped in 427 two double pumpers, man that thing would go. He gave me the motor, but I have no home for it, yet.

That's nonsense Cope. Your 427 is more than welcome in my home. I would have no problem putting it on the road.

I would buy a 1978 Ford Bronco XLT (so I could get the square headlights I like them better) with the 400 engine. This was the first year for the fullsize Bronco and in my opinion the best year... well 79's were not all that bad but they had more emission junk on them.

Vampiro,
You sure know how to make a guy feel old!!!
I wish I still had my '73 F100 with the 390/4 speed. The engine was out of a 67 Comet GT. I could outrun and outpull just about anything I put it against. That truck was sure alot of fun.

If you could go back in time

This was my favourite and and Most car I ever had.
I'm still kicking myself for selling it.

The only good to come out of it was to buy my Truck.

If you could go back in time

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 21-Feb-02 AT 08:09 PM (EST)]1970 Torino GT Sport. 351C with 3spd auto on the floor. It would just flat out HAUL! But I was young and poor (now I'm old and poor) and couldn't afford to fix it. I still kick myself for selling it.

'70 T-Bird. I loved that car. Folks made me sell it when we moved from Colo. to Fla. many a year ago. Got down here and found a 73 1/2 special edition Dodge Charger. It was fast & fun, but still would rather have had my T-Bird.

If I could go back it would have to be a 1955 Ford Thunderbird, Brand New 1953 F100 and anything Ford from 1950 to 1959.
