Angry 2004 F-150 5.4screw engine problems

I read in earlier posts about people having these problems with engine lights and engine failsafe mode coming on, the computer reset does'nt work. i experienced that friday. i had my truck in on oct. 2nd and took it back in on the 13th with the same problem. Now supposedly there are parts on order and i'm without my truck for day 3 now. Am i the only one getting annoyed with this problem. and has anyone gone to a dealer that knows what they're doing to fix it? Funny thing is when i showed up this time the service advisors first question was "Is there a vibration in the wheel again". yep had that problem and been in twice, giving up on that i think until ford admits it. tired of being told i'm crazy. Either way i have 5,700 miles on the truck and i already smell citrus.

Sorry to hear about your truck Hopefully this will be the only problem and from now on you can enjoy the F-150. Mine quit running at 800 miles because of a defective throttle position sensor. Since then, I haven't had any problems! Good luck.

finally fixed, hopefully

they replaced the throttle position sensor. truck works great better than the day i bought it. engine wise. and to anyone who takes there's in, check the area after, whoever fixed mine decided they did'nt need to remove the screws they sheared off removing the old one and left them sitting in a space in the engine....i work on aircraft for a living, a little more complex and dangerous than a truck. either way it could cause a crash. i'd actually hate to see the actual work that goes on behind the scenes if this is what i'm finding after. Now if they could just fix the steering wheel nibble at highway speeds.
