'62-63 Ranchero V8 Swap

I'm sure this question has been asked a million times, but what all needs to be done to put a 289 or 302 V8 into a '62-63 Ranchero that originally had a straight six? I would be using a 4 speed manual tranny. I've found info for early falcon swaps, but I figured the ranchero may have come with some stouter equipment even in 6cyl form which might make it an easier swap.
Thanks

Bill

All the six stuff underneath usually gets replaced, as the six had wimpy brakes and 4 lug wheels. On Mustangs, the 6 stuff was narrower too.

On just the motor, you are looking at mounts, cross for the tranny mount--may be the same, who knows, & radiator. Electrical is simple. You may have to find a donor for throttle linkage too.

Clutch z bar and mounts, don't forget those, or retro a late model cable set up.

Better minds will add more.
Don't forget the diff.....you'll need an 8" or 9" if you are going to hammer down.

Look for Currie Enterprises, they have stuff for both.
