292 y block into 49 f1

hello i have a buddy who is pulling the y block out of his 63 truck and putting in a 390. It has a 3 speed tranny. what if any kind of problems am i looking at to put this in my f1. do i use the front mount or put a crossmember in and use the side mounts. any thoughts or suggestions are welcome. also if you have done this some pictures or detailed directions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I am a big fan of Y blocks try posting this same Q on the Y block fourm. Someone that vists that fourm put one in a 46 truck.
