Pg 57, Steve Christ

I bought this book when I rebuilt the engine and some of you guys have made reference to this page. I'm looking at it and it looks like 390 pretty much use any size pushrod (we already know this). My question has to do with what's in the book.
How can I tell what size pushrod applies to my engine?
He list changes, for example "L10". What is that?
