anyone vere have trouble getting the fan clutch off the water pump this baby is on there real good ive tugged and tugged till i have nothing left and it still wont budge the weather is going to get hot soon and my truck is running hot because the fan cant keep up.
FAN CLUTCH

 

I use a little heat from a propane torch first and then some muscle.
Remember too, they are reverse threaded.

 

I removed the bolts from the pully and put a bolt back in behind the pully. i then put a combo wrench on that and a crescent in the fan shaft. rotate the shaft till the combo wrench binds on the shaft and hit the crescent with a hammer. Took 4 hits to loosen mine. Turn wrench to the left and crescent to the right. good luck
