Extra thick head gaskets

About to a cam swap in my truck to a roller cam. Want to lower the compression from 9.6 to closer to 9.0. However I don't want to change pistons or the heads since all is fairly new. I am running windsor jr 180 heads and a ford racing short block with hypertetic pistons for 9.0 compression with 64cc heads, my heads are 58 or 56 cc. Any suggestions.

Check the thickness of what you have first. Then look for maybe Felpro permatorque- about .043, or maybe some copper gaskets-not sure how thick those are.

Fel-Pro makes a head gasket shim, part # 8548SP1, for these engines.
I believe it is just a copper shim, the same shape as the head gasket and goes between the block and the gasket.
Why do you want to lower the compression?

Wanting to lower my compression so for know I can run cheaper fuel. I am looking at supercharging it later. Lower compression with more boost equals more power. Thanks for the part number
