i was looking at getting a vortech for my 95 f250 but was wondering if i can change the pulleys for more boost or do i have to stay at 4/5 lbs boost

 

Yes you can change the pulley size to spin the blower faster, but you need to make sure you have enough fuel to support the increase in boost.
What else has been done to the motor???

 

I ran a Vortech on my '96 F350 460. Stock set up. WOW...did that thing get it!! I was really impressed. I ran it once on a wednesday test/tune night...15.8, not bad for a supercab dually. I was putting the moves on a mid nineties Lightning...he was wondering what I had under the hood. He was running low 15's.

Not sure if those motors had forged pistons or not. I would not try to work it too hard it it's stock yet.

Wish I still had that truck...
