Airbag Light

Airbag Light
Our 92 is now starting to display the airbag light, while the car is running. There's some sort of a sequence to the light.
The light comes on, turns off. turns on, turns off.
Then there's a small delay.
turns on, turns off, turns on, turns off, turns on, turns' off
delay.
Cycle repeats.
Anyone know what it's trying to tell me?

Airbag Light
Clockspring is a coiled wire (hence clockspring) under the steering wheel cover and below the airbag. Allows steering wheel to turn while maintaining electrical contact with those features on the wheel, horn, airbag and cruise control. Early 90's models prone to failure, common problem. Fix is relatively simple if done properly. Get a Chilton manual for detailed explanation.
