For those who replaced their stock wheels with larger mags and low profile wheels, I am interested in the affect on the ride. I desire the look of the 22's, but I certainly wouldn't be interested in much rougher rides.

i dont think the lightning is going to come with 22s

it will notice it right away especially if you also do some supension work. i wouldnt go too large if the roads in your area are rough, the 22s wouldn't have much rubber to protect them.

 

If you go with either a 55 or 60 series, 20 inch tire, the ride will not be as harsh. However, that would mean a 33 in. or 35 in. tire.

 

I'd go with 20's unless you plan to lower it. 22's look kind of disproportional on vehicles with stock ride height.

 

I would certainly consider lowering it as well. Long term plans!
