Thumbs up Finally!!! Black & Chrome pics with Zdecals

sheeeesh, thought I would NEVER be in town long enough to post some pics of my Lariat!! I've had it about 6 weeks now and only got to put about 400 miles on it...although my wife seemed MORE than happy to put the other 500 on. Nothing like fighting over who gets to drive what every morning

Anyway - here they are. So far my mods are simply a Bedrug, Access Limited Cover and Ford Lo-pro bugshield.

And last but not least, my new "Black Oval" decals from Zdecal. Damn this is a nice product and the price is right!!!

I know there are some others that have ordered from Zdecal and they look great. But as you can see I am not really a "make a statement" kind guy. Going more for the subtle approach. Next mods would likely be a set of (1) Boze Forged Billet Door Handles WITH Keyless Entry - except I would likely have the handle bucket painted black and just leave the handle itself shiny, (2) Boze Forged Tailgate Handle and a set of Boze Twisted Fatal 6 Rims. And eventually I'll likely go with some sort of grill kit to spruce up the main grill and plug the hole below!! I'm thinking gloss black for the main and shiny billet for the bumper hole.

And don't EVEN get me started on some of the performance mods!!

Hope you enjoy the pics half as much as I enjoy the truck...which so far has not exhibited any of the problems that some post about. Thanks for all the help too - all of you.

Yikes, I've had mine for 6 weeks and it has 3k miles. I really enjoy putting miles on my truck.

Looks like we've got a Black 150 thread here lol

vaughn1 - it's 4x2. 1st time in over 20 years that I haven't had a Black 4x4 of some kind. OMG I am too old to change my ways now. Oh well...
Which flowmaster do you have? I have always had FM before and LOVE the tone but for once I do want to have less drone in the cab. I've always had 40's but now maybe thinking 50 series. I am also planning on exiting dual rear like you, but will likely do more of an angle towards the corners as well as a slight turn down on exit. Looks great!!

asinatra - hmmm, I might have to check out your wheels. I likee a lot!!!

got the 4x2 myself..Just traded in a Z71 and rarely used it....So why pay for it and the upkeep...got the Flowmaster 40 series 2 in and 2 out and it sounds great...Not too loud and very quiet once you reach desire speed.....

Another blackie here. Those are the decals about which I first contacted Ivan at zDecal.com. I was just about to order them when I figured out I needed something a little more personal. Your set certainly does look good! Both the big and little mods all count.

So how do you apply these decals? Are they stick on or the soapy water kind?

les, I kinda figured! I like the idea of an all black-truck thread especially when mine gets here on Aug 2nd. Lariat, Scab, 5'.5", 4X4, loaded. I'm sure i'll be asking more questions about it.

KCSport - they will go on dry if you want. They stick really well!!
But I think you would only get away with it on the small ones. I used the soap water method...as detailed in the instructions.

Cool deal Hawaii - let us know when you get it. Hope that date doesn't start slipping on ya. Waiting can be murder
