I don't know anyone in Edmonton for you. Just wondering what you mean by "teaching spirit"?
Very few shops will let you hang around and watch them work, let alone teach you what they are doing. It's possible some of the Auto Tech instructors at NAIT will be looking for a project vehicle, maybe get in touch with them?

Thank for the advice, This is my first car with old engine I bought, I am fascinated by those old engines. Normally, I drop off my car at the dealership for a quick repairs (under warrant), I have been doing this as long as I remember. What I meant by "Teaching spirit" is a mechanic who is passionate and love this type of old cars and willing to let me ask and learn how this technology function.
