F 150 Air conditioning?

Hey all. I have a 95 F-150 XL (no A/C). My question is, has anyone ever put an entire A/C system in a vehicle that never had one before? If so, do you have any advice? Thanks!

I had an '87 Mustang GT that did not come with factory air. I used to help a friend repo cars and one night we grabbed a '91 GT that had air. The car was totalled and we bought it at a very reasonable price. I got the A/C system, rear window w/ defog grid, and a few other things.

To make a long story short, other than removing the dash, everything went pretty smoothly. It all fit where it was supposed to, and the harness already had the required connectors. HVAC controls swapped right in and operated everything. In essence, it became factory air. Would I go through that again? Probably, if I got another deal like that.
