After washing my 04, if I let it set and start it later I get an engine miss. It only last for a mile or two. Must be getting moisture in to something?? Any one else have this problem??? I hand wash it, and don't squirt hose straight into grille when rinsing, not high pressure??

 

Sorry. No help here. I spray directly into the grille and the Wheel Wells and have never had a problem. I can't think of anyplace water would get through and affect the spark.

 

Sometimes on my truck, I will turn the key and it turns over just fine, but it doesnt fire up. I always put the key in, turn it for a about a second and let back on the key, sometimes it doesnt start. One time It let out a medium size back fire. I dont know what the problem is, but It hasnt happened in a couple of weeks. I have about 4300 on the odometer now.
