Need help down under
I have a 1955 f100 it has its original engine in it.
Ive been told it is 256 cu in and that this engine was made for marine and industrial service.
the truck was assembled here in New Zealand
Papers (pink slip?) say 256 and engine # matches data plate
I have found the following casting #s
underneath the valve covers ECL6080
underneath the valley cover G EC8 and seperately K8
on the outside of the heads above exhaust ports 4 BB
on the front cover above the crank snout EBV-6059-G
on the front crank counter weight EBU ? 3
The question mark could be a 3 or a B but there is a balancing hole drilled through the character
on the side of the block ECG 6015A
and lastly on the side of the block E54:1
