Where would you go?

I am looking for an inexpensive set of wheels for my 2002 f250 4x4 to mount a set of 265x75R16 mud tires to use during hunting season, so the cheaper the better.

I've been bouncing around the web a little and I've gone to several local tire stores around here and the cheapest I've found is roughly $100 a piece (including shipping). I've even contacted a couple of salvage yards in the area and they don't have any either - one of them said if I had a chevy they could help me out, but not a ford - I said no thanks!

I've even been watching the paper for a set of used wheels, but no luck there either....

If you were in my shoes where would you go to look?

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated - Thanks!!!

Ebay, I've seen stockers go off for less than $125 for a full set before.

You could also leave your name and number with a handful of local tire/wheel stores, so when they put aftermarket wheels on a Ford truck that'd fit your lug spec's (leave them all years that'll fit and the specific lug spec's), they can sell them to you. You should be able to deal with them for a decent price AND avoid costly shipping charges. Also, you could run a want-ad in your local cheapy paper stating that you're looking to buy "such and such" rims.

Hey, it's worth a try!

Ebay!!! I got a set of 4 Eagle Alloy wheels 16x10 for $325. And people sell their stock wheels on there for pretty cheap. $200-225 somewhere around there.

Yea I got a set of 16x8 Eagle wheels on E-bay for $250 (including shipping) - and there are almost always some stock steel wheels on there too. I got my Dad a stock set of steel wheels for his winter tires for $100.
