Mpg With Bigger Tires??

CJF150.....
I just installed a set of 285/60VR18, KUMHO "ECSTA STX", solid blackwall, "V" Speed rated tires (at 38 PSI) on my Supercrew Lariat, 4 x 2, with the the 5.4 V8 and 3.55 LS axle.
FYI....the factory stock tires that cam on the truck were P265/60R18, BFG Radial Long Trail TA's (at 35 PSI).
As compared to the original BFG's......my new tires have a .80" larger section width, .94" larger diameter, 2.97" larger circumference.....and because of their larger size, rotate 20.4 revolutions LESS per mile driven.
I have had the new tires on my truck for almost 1,000 miles....and so far, have not notice ANY MPG change up or down. HOWEVER, the new tires ride smoother AND quieter than the original BFG's.....they have excellent accelerating and braking performance.....and they their handling and cornering performance is FAR SUPERIOR to the original BFG's.....
Happy motoring!!!
