To Box or Not to Box

I have bought a 4-link and IFS for my 50 F-1. I wanted to know if it would be better to box the whole frame or to just save my time and effort, and box only the required portions. I am personally leaning torwards boxing the whole frame because I plan on installing a x-member. Thanks in advance.

Since you are going with both an IFS and 4-link, I think I would just box the entire frame also.

I would box the entire frame, this way the truck is sure to hold up if a large HP engine comes in the future.

I'll take the other position. Only box your frame in the areas needed for the 4-link and IFS. I think that boxing is overdone. The frame needs some areas with the ability to flex when driving over uneven surfaces.
