hi, i'm a new york member and i have a snugtop camper in KC, MO that i'm shipping. the freight company screwed up and its stuck there at the persons home. i had the topper packed to their specs and now they want it crated.

i found a place thats going to crate it and ship it for me but i need to get someone to pick it up now and drop it off. the camper is in kc, mo on e. meyer blvd and the snugtop dealer is in n.kc, mo on burlington st. its about 10 miles away from where the topper is.

i'm offering gas and tolls, some NYPD shirts and baseball caps and patches if wanted and a $50 to anyone that can do it.

i'm taking the family on a trip at the end of may and i have 2 newborns and i cant pack all of their stuff with just my tonneau cover.

 

I can't do it but I will contact another user here and see what he has going. Somebody should be able to help you I would imagine.

hisjr, I am putting this over in the Kansas chapter to see if any of our members in the KC area can help. I know a couple who might be able to do it I will keep you posted.

 

thanks for the help. looks like i have arrangements for thursday for it to be picked up. hopefully this works out. a crating company gave me a number to a local delivery company thats going to drop it off for me.

i want to sincerely thank everyone. the camper is at the snugtop dealer and its getting packed and ready for freight. my family and i would like to thank everyone who offered help and if there is anything i can do in return please ask. our family vacation will be much more enjoyable now that i will have the room for the extra stuff for the newborns.

hey guys (and gals) murphy's law kicked in and i ended up in the hospital for chest surgery. well my snugtop got on the truck yesterday and its on its way to NY, the vacation was put on hold but it looks like we're going away so i can finally relax but no driving so the truck is parked until i can drive. thanks again and the courtesy cards are in the mail on monday.
