Smokey and the Bandit

I've heard, well seen a lot of people talking about Smokey and the Bandit on FTE. I was just wondering who has seen it? What did ya think about it? Personally it is my favorite movie. I've seen it probably at least a hundred times. come to think of it, probably more than that. I can't watch it roght now because I let my g/f borrow it. So, any comments?

I've seen it, but, again, it's been a LONG time. I was probably younger than 10 when I saw it, so it's been over 10 years. I'll agree. American Graffiti is an awesom movie. I didn't see it until last summer/fall, and I love it, too. Another movie that should be required for America's youth.

Thats cool.I have a 76 T/A that I have had since it was 1yr old,I have stored it every winter, blown 8 400 motors, now it has a small block 400 chevy.I made the mistake of letting a female drive it once and yup she wrecked the front clip,I am still looking for good fenders,I found a pair and they are on it now,but they are rotten at the bottom,so if you hear of any let me know.

And smokey and the bandit is one of my all time favorite movies, gota go,I`m in hot pursuit!

I love the 74-76 body styles. But I have one question, why did you "violate" the car with a Ch*** motor? jk I also am looking for a new drivers fender, its pretty rusty, along with the door bottoms. The rest of the car is solid though.

I loved them enough to buy the first and second one both on DVD and VHS. The third one was a discrase to the S&B name though

Well the tranny is a B&M with a 3500rpm stall convertor and 400 pontiac motors just cant take the hi rpms,so thats when I went to the chevy motor,I think I have a little too much motor and trans for the traction I can get without tubbing it,but man it launches and frys the tires

The funny thing was, when I switched over to chevy, the pontiac tranny and convertor were about a year old,and all my racing buddys thought I was nuts to turn around and buy them over again just to run a chevy motor, well they dont laugh anymore!

This was the first movie I ever saw without my parents. I was on a school trip and we were supposed to watch a 'G' movie but a few guys said they were sneaking over to watch Smokie so I went with them. I always loved big rigs since I could crawl and I just loved it and have seen it many times over.
