1973 F150 4X4 Dana 60's front and rear (Detroit Lockers), 1 King coilover and 1 King triple bypass shock per wheel, King airbumbs, 4 link rear and 3 link front, 37 Goodyear's (Hummer tires - the military kind that can take a bullet or 2), Blown 514, C-6, NP205, Beard racing seats, caged front to rear, Alpine 7" LCD monitor in the dash with 2 10" JL audio subs behind the seat and Focal 4 way components up front. This is my first post here. Just joined the site because I like the amount of interest in the 73-79s that exists here.
I'm building my dream truck. Right now I'm just collecting parts but will more than likely start on it this winter. It is a '78 350 Crew Cab LB. It will be converted to 4wd with a Dana 60 front and Sterling 10.5 rear out of an '03 Superduty. For now 8" Fabtech SD springs (will 4 link on bags at a later time). For a powerplant, a 6.0L PSD will go in with the matching AT and T-case. I'll install Lariat seating and custom interior of some sort. A custom paint job too. I think a 70s truck with late model components and a nice interior will be really sweet. It will be a long term project but worth it when completed. I'm looking forward to it.

Another one of my 73-79 dream trucks would be a 76 F150 4x4. The truck would be a 2-tone brown and tan Ranger XLT longbed. The body and interior would be all stock. The engine would be a 460 with a 4bbl carb. The truck would have 33x10.50 tires and white wagon wheels. It would also have a chrome roll-bar and a tan snap-on tonneau cover.
