I've got my money on my favourite team since like 1994. My Detroit Redwings! I love Toronto, but I love my Wings. Even if they don't win this year I'll still always love them!

I WANT the Stars to win but I think the Wings are gonna take it this year. Ever since we gave them Hull and now they have Hatcher, Ive been watching them when I can because Hatcher is a bad ****. I do still think the Stars have a chance although I think this season was more of a rebuilding season than anything. Next year though....next year the wings will be runnin scared! lol

My money is on the Toronto Maple Leafs - veteren team, good numbers this season - plus - they OWE ME - I've been watching for 25 years and they haven't won yet

I hope you're right, but whoever gets out of the east is going to be pretty beat up. 2 of the 4 series in the east are teams that REALLY don't like each other. Flyers vs. Devils and Toronto vs. Ottawa. The first round is definitely going to be fun to watch! To quote my 3 1/2 year old son - GO FLYERS!!!! BOO STINKIN' DEVILS!!! I'm raising him right!!

I hear ya about next year, but YOU have to be worried that next year there's still a Pens....Haven't I heard rumors of them moving?

 

Well Game 1 is done. Now who ever doubted the wings? I know the broadcasters here (TSN) were like "oh the wings are 20 mins away from the inevitable, a game 1 loss in the first round."

I was like oh whatever, hey did anyone catch Lang's rediculous dangle? Nice eh? How bout datzy huh? He's pretty good. Good compliment to zetty with both of them and hull just skates around like he's not doing anything, than bam. GOAL. Alright can't wait for game 2. Go Wings.
