New Rebate Announcement?

My dealer has told me that Ford is having a live broadcast this afternoon (4/2) to announce the new quarter rebates and finance rates. Has anybody else heard of this? He thought they may raise the x-plan rebate!

I read in another post that Jeff said Ford is extending the current rebates (until June, i think). It'd be great if they'd raise the xplan rebate, though. I expect Jeff'll be along shortly to enlighten us.

Well.........

A/X/Z-Plan cash on full-size pickups (150-350) dropped to $250 this morning, but it still shows as $500 on vehicles like Explorer. Again, trying to figure out what Ford's going to do with incentives is like trying to predict the weather 2 weeks down the road!

Jeff-
Does that mean that I will only get $250 if I take delivery by 4/30? Or does the $500 still count for orders placed before the rebate changed?

And by the way- I'd like to take a vacation to the islands in the end of April...will it be rain or shine?

Ford's rebates are what's in effect at the time you take delivery, not when you order. Sorry.

As for the weather, I'd say you've got a 50-50 chance of rain or shine.

I just looked and for me in Oregon, the rebate for the 6.0 went down $500 to $1500.

I sure hope Ford increases the rebates. Sorry guys on the verge of buying a Chevy here in Louisiana 3500.00 rebate on extended cab Chevy, only 1500.00 on Supercab Ford.

cateye-

Sorry to hear that--the Ford's an awesome truck. You must be looking at a diesel? The gas engine rebate here is $2500.

On a private TV network called "Fordstar." It's one of the top 10 reasons for being a Ford salesperson: FREE FORDSTAR!

NO, not a Superduty on a F-150 Supercab the rebate is 1500.00. Trust me I want the Ford but for the price difference might have to go with the Chevy. Okay, Jeff give us some good news after the broadcast if it happens.

Yeah, now if I could only find a SCHEDULE for today's broadcasts. I can't find anything about it. I think most everyone at "Fordstar" is a reject from "WKRP in Cincinnati..." Not the sharpest tools in the shed, if you catch my drift.
