What is the best place to get emblems and NOS items for a 1965 camper special.

 

They all come from the same place, no matter who sells them. Dennis Carpenter manufactures and distributes most of the repro parts of this nature. It's either from him or NO$ if you can find them.
Carpenter's repro parts are usually from the original dies, so it's good stuff.

 

Not sure about your area, but w/ summer almost here, thera are a number of auto swap meets lined up. Unfortunately, the popular sponsers are now charging $25 for entrance and parking. Usually find a number of the Ford supply parts distribuers there. I have been successful locating items can not find thru salvage, or catalogs.

 

There's a lot of NOS dealers out there on the net. You really need a set of parts books or know someone who has them (me). I have access to a site that dealers use to list thier inventories of NOS stuff and can find alot of stuff. I have Ford parts books for the trucks up to 1972. You can find alot of repo stuff out there now and some of it is good stuff. Dennis Carpenters stuff is top notch and the other sellers buy from him and re-sell it. If you want me to try to locate a particular part, list it here and I'll try to find it and post my results.

ok find me a hood emblem, for 65 camper special that would be a great start, Also I need a good mat for the cab see if you can locate on of those also. Also check out door handles too for me.

Also cheapest place to buy a brand new passenger side exhaust manifold mine is cracked awfully bad.

OK, what I do is look for NOS and report back if I found anything listed and give you some locations and phone#s to call. THen you call with the part numbers I give you and ask for prices and see if they still have them. If I strike out on NOS, then it's up to you to look for repo stuff. After all, I can't do it all..............Let me see what I come up with.

No one has the hood emblem or floor mats.

Dale King Ford Parts in Kentucky has The Door handles and the exhaust manifold. Phone number is 1-877-246-1111
Dennis Carpenter has both door handles in repos as he shows 100's of them for qty.
Green Sales in Cincinatti has the door handles also. Phone is 1-800-543-4959

I'd call Dale King as he list 3 items and they will be NOS items.
