Angry 302 Stop

Hi all. I am new to your board. Found this forum while trying to find an answer to a problem. 85 F150 4x4, just put a new 302 in it. Everything was running fine for about two hours of driving around when it just quit. No lopping or stalling, it just quit. After it cooled off it ran fine for a while and just quit again. The shop picked it up and looked it over and it ran fine for them. They called, picked it up and it drove fine all day then just quit again. When it cooled off it ran fine again ( about 20 to 30 minutes cool off) It does not run hot, in fact it runs like it is new. This problem did not occur before the engine replacement. I am thinking it is a short or a loose wire but have no idea where to look. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks

Sounds like a classic problem with the TFI module on the distributor. I'd either get it checked out when the problem occurs or get a new one. They are known to have problems due to the high temperatures where they are mounted.
