i am trying to find pictures or a reference site on the net for the 1950 ford good humor truck conversion any suggestions? most of the search engine are coming up blank for me

 

This might not help at all but, have you checked out the die cast models of this truck. They are always offered on eBay. I assume that if you are interested in this type of truck you already have all of the items you can find. I just figured if you haven't done this already, it's a place to start. You could use them for the general information about how these trucks looked and were decorated. Another thought I had is that you could try to contact the manufacters of the die cast trucks and find out what truck they used to model their trucks from. Usually the die cast makers use real trucks to model their trucks.

This site mentioned that they have an old fashioned Good Humor truck. They also had a small picture the truck, it looked to be the same vintage as the above picture.

The people who own the above trucks might be able to help with the basic structure of an ice cream truck, I don't think they would have changed much over the years.

I am also assuming that you are going to built a replica ice cream truck. I would like to see it so please keep us posted.
