Thumbs up Lucky me, I found where my rubbers go

OK, now that I've got your full attention,

get your minds back up out of the gutter(s).

For all my fellow Volare clipsters, the following link should be extremely helpful.

Diplomat website w/volare info

I came across this in another post here on the group. And the site is great. it also had another link with the Volare clip parts explosion

good to bookmark or save to disk.

Question

It's odd, I have a volare front end and even while looking at the exploded view, I don't see where the bounce part of the suspension comes from. ?? There are no springs. So is there some sort of cushion built into the torsion bars? Maybe that's the definition of a torsion bar? Does anybody have an answer for this delima? Thanks, John

The torsion bars themselves are springs. That is how they work. Ed

Thumbs up

Cool, it's good to know. And I guess it wouldn't be too safe to hang over the bumper watching it while my wife drives it down the road. LOL, TAYL, John
