just installed a rebuilt long block from kragens, and its eating the cam synchro gear within 1 hr. After I pulled off the front cover found the bad gears, I inspected the old motor and found the the drive gear on the cam was chipped, so I thought that the wear on the sychro gear was pre exsisting and it just went bad after being installed in the new motor.I replaced both gears and reinstalled the cover, and within 5 min it took out both gears again, the teeth on the the gears are being sharpened till they break, any sugestions, what am I doing wrong???????????

bushin in the cover worn??? thrust washer worn??? the gears arent properly aligned.. ?!?! just had mine off too.. the only2 things i can think of.. just my 2 c
