hello everyone in my home province. glad to be a new member to FTE. my name is gary and i live on lake simcoe just north of newmarket. cant say enough about this awesome site, great info and alot of people who generally seem very nice and helpful.
I purchased my first ford truck last may from my younger brother
the original owner, its a 1996 f350 7.3l psd. 4x4. I love my truck
could not imagine owning any other kind of truck. I would like to
throw out my first question to my fellow members in ontario. Are
there any ford truck clubs in ontario, i noticed theirs always a load
of clubs and jamborees in the u.s.a. anyways just wanted to introduce myself and looking forward to many great years as a member to FTE.

We don't seem to be gathering much like they do down south.
Sooner or later, someone will try to put together a week-end get together. Hmmm...Lake Simcoe is a nice place in the summer!

 

Thanks for the welcome Dealford, alot of large parks up our way were we could get together for a great day, and admire each others rigs. I also was curious on how long it took to make the big board?? I know theres a monster truck event posted for I believe july in London. I would imagine there going to be a show/shine and manufactures runway etc if your into that sort of thing. proud to be a canuck

 

Welcome aboard buck I agree that it would be nice to get together with other members mabe on the weakends in toronto or close proxcimity .

 

Hey Cooklloyd would you happen to know how many ontario chapter members live in the greater toronto area?? Would only take a couple of get togethers and this thing would probably take off like an arrow, atleast thats my opinion. We have a car/truck club in keswick called the back alley cruisers but they are mainly classics and custom cars/trucks. I now the vice president and I will approach him on wether or not he would like to expand the club for guys with nice rides, they are into cruises between beaverton , bradford, newmarket etc but all pretty well show/shine units. Anyways time will tell eh???

No I'm sorry I don"t but YOU guys& gals from toronto how about letting yourselves be known so we can get a club started. There is also a show out in Aurther ont but its been so long i can't remember when it is I also like the truck pulls. I'm looking eventually for a mint body with air for my 77 highboy. good to hear from you.

 

Linsay in August sounds like a plan. A friend of mine used to live on Slanted Rd. in Raeboro(sp).

I was not aware that FTE would axe the web address that I was trying to give you all. Sorry if I caused a problem, seen other web sites listed thru the forums I didnt realize I was not suppose to submit web addresses. Any how you could probably call the town of lindsay and get ticket prices etc. Hey by the way theres atleast 2 great 4x4 places that us guys can go to get parts and aftermarket products for our fords, theres a place in Newmarket called "On All Four" and another in Burlington called National 4 Wheel Drive Centres if you did notknow. I hope I just did not get myself in trouble again with FTE for using names.
