some very strange issues with my truck. check engine light kept coming on and it was running very rough. had a buddy put it on the computer and it showed EGR sensor was bad, so i replaced it. now the check engine light does not come on but it is still running rough. things i have done so far, cleaned the throttle body, replaced o2 sensor, idle air control valve, egr sensor, fuel filter. when my buddy put it on the computer the only code it showed was the egr sensor. something is still amis and i cannot find it. any help and input will be greatly appreciated.... truck is an 88 f250 with a 351 with EFI and automatic transmission. seems to have a bad miss, but not all the time.

 

I would add some fuel injector cleaner to the gas tank. I would also consider replacing the spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor.

 

those were all put on new when the new motor was installed. so far i have dumped 2 cleaners per tank for the last 3 tanks. i am wondering if i have a clogged injector. is there any way to remove them and clean em??? motor maybe has 2000-3000 miles on it. i was going to pull the plugs tomorrow and check em, maybe one is fouled out.

oh one other thing it seems to be running rich...
