fanman,

thanks for the correction to my prices. I must have used the wrong multiplier or something. Cheers!

Just got back from a snowmobiling trip in Quebec and the prices averaged around 80 cents Canadian per liter. Doing the conversions to the US Dollar and gallon, that works out to about $2.40 per gallon for regular. That is 64 cents more than I pay at home in New York. One thing I did notice is a lot less SUVs and trucks north of the border.

The price of gas is related to the cost of oil, plus greed. The composition of price is cost of product plus greed plus TAXES. I am fairly comfident that producers pay around the same for oil give of take a bit. Add to this greed and government taxes and presto, the price for gas. I understand that some European countries add a bunch in taxes to get the price up to $4/gal

Jim.....

Having traveled extensively in Europe.....I can tell you firsthand that $4.00/gallon would be correct....and the foreigners think that is a "good" price?!?!

Here's to ALL the major oil companies and their insanely greedy prices

Fellas,

I seen an interesting infomercial about a device called Tornado Fuel Saver and when installed it increases your fuel economy and horsepower by much as 28% and 13 horses respectively.

It’s a mini-cyclone looking device that’s placed in your air intake that creates a swirling motion, allowing the air to move faster and more efficiently.

One of the sites below sells it for $70 and the other sells it for $50. What do you guys think? Save up and buy an intake kit. I just might buy one and install it in my wife’s Expy and see what kind of increases it gives.

I’m bored! I thought I throw out a new thread.
