I bought a 56 F-100 with a suppose to be 429 cj.Well the heads have DOVE-A on them and the block has DIVE 6015aa or 8015aa on it.IS this a cobra jet or what?Thanks for any info. donald

 

The DOVE heads are the standard 429 heads for 1970- "thunderjet." The cj heads are DOOE. The dove heads are very capable. Both the tj and cjs used the same block, D1VE. Can't help you on any potential differences btwn the 6015 and 8015 casting numbers.
