Welcome everyone! Glad to have you aboard, I'm sure we will have a meet and greet sometime this spring. I will start a thread soon to get the ball rolling.

Sounds good Fitter, I would like to get a dose of Ford this spring and redeem myself!

Are you gonna show up in the Z17? I can bring an excavator and we can bury it for you. Then you will be redeemed.

I just went back a few pages and there are a lot of new people here,
Welcome to WV FTE to all you new people. Hope to meet you all soon.

I don't drive a L-ing but I believe I may have seen you a time or two-maybe in the south Fairmont area? My folks still live in Fairmont and I'm around there pretty often. I live a little ways north of Fairmont. There's a white L-ing around the Fairmont/Morgantown area I see often with a white tonneau cover and aftermarket window tints.

Anyway, I really like 'em. Too bad Ford axed them...

SVT Joe, I think I have seen you around Bridgeport a couple of times. I have a black 86 250 4x4 flat bed with chrome west coast mirrors and stacks. And before Mike says it, there may be black smoke coming out of them when you see me.

I like the here hemi hemi, I like messing with the Dodge diesels, they aren't near as tough as they think. But then they never think an 86 would have a 7.3 turbo in it.

Well since my 88 460 died and I had to have something to drive I bought a friends 93 explorer for $1,000.00 - had to be a ford!

Anyone know how to rebuild a 460 cheap but reliable?

Talking My Toy

I am a long standing Ford owner that has just recently graduated to diesel HP.
I am the proud owner of a Char-Coal Grey 2005 F350 Ford Super Duty 4X4 with the 6.0 Turbo Charged deisel.

I have no mechanical abilities at all, but I can say that this truck is everything, so far, I ever expected, and more, and I have had sever Ford pickups.

This Forum, and others has pretty much convinced me that adding "After Market" horse power, on a truck I plan on working, as well as playing (hunting & fishing", with intentions of keeping it for a looooooong time, would not be wise venture.

I do have intentions of replacing the street radial tires, currently residing on the 18 inch wheels, with tires combining off road and street use. That said, I would also like to fill the fenders a little fuller but I have no idea of how to proceed.
