All time favorite Movie?

This has probably been done before, but I'm going to do it anyway. What is your all time favorite movie and why?

I have a hard time deciding on if it is the "Lonesome Dove " movies or "Star Wars". I watch a lot of movies and can watch most of them over and over.

I like Lonesome Dove, because I read the book and it followed the book to a "T", you get to really like the personalities of each character and almost feel like you are on the drive with them. The emotions experienced and the portrayals of each character are an interesting study of the way people and this country used to be.

Star Wars - I was totally astounded at the special effects in the first one and the developing theme throughout all the series. An interesting movie that made you look forward to the next one. Am going to be sad when the last one is finished. I know it isn't one of the most intellectual movies, but still...I think it is great.

I know there are a lot of outstanding movies, but those two seem to stick more than most.

There have been a lot of good ones but going back a few years would be 'The Untouchables’ with Kevin Costner and Sean Connery. Also the first ‘Jaws’ was great.

I have never really been big into movies, but I have to say that LOTR trilogy has grabbed me by the booboo's. The cinematography is amazing. I have been meaning to get around to reading the actual books.

Narrow it down to one? Man, that's hard....

Maybe, "A Clockwork Orange".

Pale Rider (Clint Eastwood)
Full Metal Jacket
The Matrix
The Outlaw Jose Wales

These are the only movies that I would buy the DVD for.
