Flo-PRO vs Flowmaster

Does anyone have any info on the difference between the Flo Pro and FlowMaster mufflers? Going to put duals on a new 5.4 and one shop offers the Flo Pro while another the FlowMaster. I have read good things about the Flowmaster on here but do not know about the Flo Pro. Would appreciate any info you may have.
Thanks,
Doug

i know that flowmaster has pretty bad flow compared to flo-pro, if it's flow that you want, i would go with flo-pro, but if its sound and the name you want, i would go with flowmaster, they are both good in my opinion, but the flo-pro does outflow the flowmaster

Thanks for the info. Don't mean to sound ignorant but what is my advantage with the flow? Also, will the Flo-Pro add some sound?
Thanks,
Doug

i'm in the same boat, i have a 460 in an 84 f-250 and i'm adding a single 3" all the way back with a flowmaster muffler, because i want my truck to be LOuD, so i hope i can acheive that with single exhaust, as for your advantages with the flowpro there is a chart on this website that can tell you a little better than i can...

http://www.mastermuffler.com/performance.html

scroll to the bottom where they feature the flo-pro mufflers and it shows you the cfm the muffler moves per minute and you can see, i dont really know about the loudness though, i want to be real loud, but i dont think it's going to turn out that way, but it's all good because it saves me money, i'm 18 and going to college, so, hey, what are you going to do...

Thanks for the info. I'll check the chart. I want louder than stock but not excessive.
Thanks again,
Doug

Flo Pro sound

I just had a Flo-Pro put on my 91 351 Bronco and its exactly what I wanted. I wanted something for a little more uumph, but that did not cause a droning in the cab. This was the first time I used Flo-Pro, and I am happy that I did instead of the Flowmaster.

The Flo-Pro was just a tad louder than the stock setup, but it still has a nice little rumble....
