so this is my first ford and i am loving this truck.
my question is, i found that the stock 460 with 8 to 1 compression was like 220hp...

but how much torque was it stock?

but the motor has been modded since stock. so right now my engine has the stock 600 carb but an eldebrock intake manifold, and ceramic coated headers and a cam thats just barely over stock....

so how much hp and torque do you think this motor has...

someone tried to tell my 400hp...i was like no, thats too much

I know that a 84 E350 van with a 460 and a auto had a net hp of 214 and a net torque of 382 lbs.ft.. I found this in a couple library books, because i have a 84 e350 460 motor in my 77 f150 4x4. I think that net hp and tq mean at the rear wheels.

 

ya that sounds right for stock...i just wonder how much more power i have with the mods....either way it pulls my trailer and car great

Your mods probably gave you around 30 more horsepower.
