NO Heat, NO Radio in my 95 Grand Cherokee
I have a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with the 4.0 I6, besides the 78 bronco I wish I could be driving right now. Anyway the climate control, radio, interior lights, power locks and info. center all went out at the same time yesterday. I hit one of my map lights while listening to the radio then, bam, I got nothing. There is no short above the light and occassionaly the air bag light or security light comes on. Now its getting really cold without heat or defrost in the morning.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Try http://www.nagca.com
Its a website specifically for Grand Cherokee owners.
A lot of specific tech, rather than Ford people guessing at it.

well without kicking him in the ***** i will say that the climate control and the infro center is all ran by instraments that send dat to the computer then adjusts the climate or direction and so on. thoug it sound slike you got a burt or fryed wire and if power is flowing through them then they could be melting into other wires causing more problems like your air bag. but most likely if that accidently blows popcorn will probly fly out and atleast then you will have a snack on the ride to work. come do think of it doesn't every other company build a climate control override in ther cars? wel my advice is to put tthe cherokee back on the reservation where it belongs, where it can roll freely in park through the gatted plains and be watched for explosion of activity. (i didn't mean to offend any native americans with this) wait didn't i say i wouldn't bust your ***** ? dammit i always forget

I'd suspect either a loose harness connector, or a fairly large fusible link near the battery is out. If it's the link - something grounded in a major way. Make sure that map light switch is off.
Could be the wire run from the map light got sawed through by a sheet metal edge somewhere. That would be a momentary contact, and may be hard to trace.
