Bronco gets Good Seal of Housekeeping

First off, Happy New Years to all.

Second, who else out there considers your Bronco the safest ride you have? On nights like this, when there's lots of traffic - and a good chance of extra drunks, we always take the Bronco.

It's funny, even now with me in my mid 30s, both my parents were lecturing me about being safe when driving around tonight. Then, when I told them that I was taking the Bronco, they were both like "oh, well then you should be fine."

My other rides are a Cherokee or a Grand Cherokee and the Bronco always wins out when we feel like we need a little extra protection against the loonies.

Yea, my bronco is probly the safest veicle at the house. But, I did'nt do any driving tonight, all my buddies came over to my place to set off fireworks. I did remind 1 friend to be safe, cause he lives only about 5 or 6 miles away, but he drives a 03 toyota solara.
Happy new years to all, and be safe out there.

Thumbs up

I had an 86 Bronco before my current 96. Got hit head on a couple of years ago by a brand new (2000) Ford Exploder being driven by a lady too busy looking for a CD that she dropped to notice she was crossing the center line. Bronco needed a new front bumper, drivers side front fender and some trim pieces. I drove the truck home from the accident after bending the bumper away from the tire with some help from the tow truck guy. The Exploder left the scene on a flatbed a total loss and the driver left the scene in an ambulance. I am a Bronco man for life.

I had the bitter sweet pleasure of witnessing an accident last night [New Years Eve] between a 89-91 Bronco and a brand new dodge ram super cab [yuck!]. Anyways, the driver of the dodge [a young kid in his daddy's truck] wanted to beat the yellow, while the bronco was inching up waiting for the light to turn green. Well, you know what happens next. The dodge smacks the bronco right on the drivers side fender and spins around twice before resting up against a nearby fence. Upon impact, the bronco rose up about 4 inches from the ground and did a 180. Both drivers get out and exam the vehicles. The front end of the dodge was crushed from the front bumper to the windshield, while the bronco had a hanging bumper and a dented fender.

I tell ya, these things are friggin tanks!!!!
