Bronco vs. Bronco II

Bronco vs. Bronco II
Hi all!
First of all I LOVE the big Broncos. Have always liked them but never had the opportunity to own one (have owned a Bronco II and several F150's and an F250).
Anyway, my son is a Blazer lover (YUK!) and we got into a discussion. I think I'm right and he thinks I'm nuts. Can anyone give me details on the run of the Bronco and the Bronco II. Was the bronco II only manufactured when the big Bronco wasn't? I think there are years where both were manufactured, but he thinks it was either one or the other.
I've been all over the web looking and can find the answer. Can anyone help?
Thanks!
Sandy

Go to autozone, ask for a part from a ford bronco, they'll ask "What year" say 90... Ford... then they'll ask if it's a Bronco or Bronco II. Proof that both existed in, at the very least, that year. (They wouldn't have listings for a vehicle that didn't exist, because they would never have parts for it)

My X is a 91... so unless they produced it and the B2 sim. then 90 was the last B2 year.
But both Bronco's were built sim from 84-90... My B2 was an 85, and the full size I have now is an 85.
I liked my B2, it was a descent rig for getting around in the woods and all, just lacked towing power and the ability to pull much of anything out of a hole if they were stuck... My full size makes up for those shortcomings, but won't fit down some of the old ATV trails I used to take my B2 down.
The X is a good median, with the 4.0L or now days they have the V-8 models you have plenty of power, but it's not a bohemith like the full size Bronco...
V-8 would be nice, but who wants to take a new 30+K X where I take my old Bronco or my old X... that would be crazy!
