Power Specs of a V10?

Just another simple question... When was the changeover date to the new 310hp V10. I know that it was sometime in 99, but when? My truck was built in September of 1999. Does it have the newer 310hp V10??

Thanks

Morgan

Although you'll get your answer here, you can/should post specific questions in the best forum to get your answer. There is a V10 forum further down the main page.

I am not sure what the exact date was. But I would say yes. There are physical differences in some parts but I just cannot remember off-hand. I just had Chinese food and it makes me sleepy...

Yours is a 2000 right? If it is, then yes you do have the 310hp/425ft/lbs of torque version.
