overheating

Hey - I plow snow with a '93 F150 - 6 cyl. and I can plow all day but if i drive from here to there over 40 mph it over heats on me and I can almost tell the second the thermostat opens cause it drops right down real fast.

I thought about taking the stat. out - or puting in an electric fan what do you think

I have tried all angles on the blade and almost every height - except grinding the pavement.

any ideas?
