I have not done your year truck but everyone that I have done has been just about the same.
1) remove the glove box or drop down for acess to the area behind it.
2) look up under the dash and there should be 4-6 small bolts holdign a "tray'
3)open the hood and trace the supply lines to the firewall (should be two small lines stacked) on the passenger side of the firewall under the hood
4) Catch the heater core as it falls to the floor
only kidding remove gthe heater core
5) do everything in reverse order

I dont know if theat was detailed enough or 100% corrrect for your truck but all the others I have done have been very similer to that.

Or you could go drop $$$$ on the haynes manuel

Hope that helped
let us know

Chris

I HAVE AN 87 F150 AND ITS PROBABLY ONE OF THE EASIEST HEATER CORES TO CHANGE. DROP THE GLOVE BOX. DISCOUNT THE THE HEATER CONTROL CABLE AND LOOK FOR 6 SCREWS THAT HOLD THE COVER OVER THE CORE. DONT FORGET TO DISCONNECT THE HOSES ...;O)

Looks like cake now that I figured out how to remove the glovebox. Shouldn't take more than an hour. Shure it'll help to keep me warm on those cold mornings too!
Thanks for the help.
