94 F150 I-6 idle and stalling problem

I have a 94 F150, I-6, 4x4, 5spd. No options but a radio. It has been idling goofy for months so I posted a thread and got many replies. (thanks!) I never found the problem and I get no codes. I just turned the idle up a little but it does sputter. I cleaned the IAC but it was pretty clean already. Now it is starting to stall at idle if I turn the wheel and sometimes when I come to a stop. What is with these Fords and idling problems. Somebody has to have a fix. I am getting a lot of gray hair with this truck. Somebody throw me a life preserver!!

Thanks!

Sounds sort of familiar. My V8 5.0 has a similar issue. It started just stalling at idle and while stopping, but RAPIDLY progressed to stalling when I am slowing down. Sort of a bad deal when you go to turn a corner and stall in the middle of the road. I checked the EGR and replaced the Oxygen Sensor to no avail. Seems like there are a lot of people in the same boat as you and I on here. Has anyone successfully solved this one?

Check the throttle body gasket . It literally gets half sucked into the manifold. Very common on this motor. this is also a good time to give the throttle body a good cleaning.

I am having the same problem but with a few more twist. I am $800 in to mine and thats me doing the work and I am still having trouble.

Mine started out the same and had been getting worse. I think I may be making some forward progress now. Tonight I changed the plug wires and it ran better on a test drive but we'll see how she acts tomorrow. It always seems to change.

I have change everything from fuel pumps to sensors and even a new TB.

I just got rid of one of my headaches! I sold my 92 F150! Now I still have this 94 F150 but I cant get rid of it til I fix this problem. I have noticed that it runs perfect when cold but when it gets up to operating temperature it starts the funky idle thing. It will run fine for2 or 3 engine revolutions but then it seems to miss. It will then run 2 or 3 revolutions then miss again. If you rev it up and let it come back to idle it will run for 10 seconds just fine and then start all over again.
