351 to 460

Anyone know which way is more cost effective. Should I buy the L&L kit or buy individual parts from Ford? I know I will buy the long tube headers from L&L. The rest is still up in the air. Just trying to save some research time. Thanks, Dan

Well using stock frame mounting pads from a donor truck from the junkyard would save you a few dollars and should hold up fine. Is your truck 1/2 ton or 3/4+? Later

I HAVE A 1978 FORD 1/2 TON THAT I INSTALLED A 460 IN AND I USED THE L&L MOTOR MOUNTS THAT WORKED FINE AND IT WAS EASIER THAN TRYING TO FIND A GOOD DONOR TRUCK.PLUS I ALSO USED THE L&L FRONT BRACKETS AND PULLEYS TO MAKE IT LOOK MORE FACTORY.L&L IS THE EASYIEST ROUTE.PLUS THE MOTOR MOUNTS ARE LIFETIME WARRANTY.

the caps lock key is located between the tab key and the shift key on the left hand side of the keyboard.

I don't really understand using custom mounting brackets for a truck that originally had BB mounting brackets? How well that is just my opinion, no biggie. You might save money by getting long tube headers elsewhere. There are other offerings for your truck, L&L isn't exactly cheap. Oh well, good luck with your truck, you should really enjoy the BB, later

From what I've read L&L has the best header out there for the 460. They are pricey but you get what you pay for. I think I'll check in the exhaust section. See Ya..
