1995 f-150 5.0 4x4 manual tranny plug wires
i would like to know the technical aspects of the plug wire routing on the 302? if you install good quality plug wires why would you have to worry about routing them? this confuses me i would appreciate a little input on this aspect of the 302. i had a i-6 300 f-150 and this was not required. thankyou everyone for any ideas

Im not exactly sure why the 302's are so sensitve to plug wire routing , but todays ignition systems produce a lot of voltage . The wires are longer on the 302 and just the nature of electricity make them susceptable to ground in places other than the plugs . Electricity always takes the path of least resistance . The way the 300 is designed , the distributor is mounted pretty much halfway along the block so the plug wires arent that long , I think no 6 is the longest . Ive put wire looms on my 300 just to make it look neater .
