front end sagging?
could some kind soul ,one who owns a 48 to 52 f1 , please humor an old man and go out to your garage and measure the distance from the floor to the underside of the front bumper [assuming its stock ] and give me the results . my 52 front end seems to be getting lower over time or maybe i'm getting taller. before you ask , yes i checked the front tires they're ok. however the front springs appear to be flat or horizontal rather than an upward curve . does this sound correct? the distance i measured was 11 inches floor to center underside .

I have a picture with all the dimensions you need.
Now for the hard part - Your a new user so you can't e-mail me yet from my profile, I will not post my e-mail on the board and your profile says your not accepting e-mails.
If you change your profile I can email you, you can respond THEN I can send the picture or maybe somone else will respond and I can go back to sleep, all this has tired me out.

Charles, the diagram comes out of the owner's manual for 1948 - probably 49 and 50 too.
I measured my '48 Ziggy. I found the front bumper to be 14" from pavement to bottom of bumper and 19" to top of bumper. With the frame height to bumper centerline the diagram shows at 16.74" mine is slightly lower at 16.5 C/L ( this is as close as I can get in the dark and in the SNOW tonight)
My front springs are flat to slightly de-arched with a flathead V8 so your's sound fairly close.
I'm running a stock profile tire(LT215/85R/16). If you have low profile 15" tires on your truck it could easily account for 1" or more. On the other hand, we're all sagging more - why not our trucks?!
